About The Role
Client Management: Handle a varied portfolio of clients, including small to medium-sized enterprises and high-net-worth individuals.
Accounting Services: Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, and other accounting reports for clients.
Advisory: Provide expert advice on tax planning, financial management, and business strategy to help clients achieve their financial goals.
Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior accountants and accounting assistants, offering guidance and support to ensure high standards of work.
Compliance: Ensure that all accounting practices comply with relevant regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in accounting processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Client Interaction: Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing personalized service and addressing any queries or concerns.
Professional Development: Stay updated with industry trends and changes in accounting regulations, and contribute to the firm’s ongoing professional development initiatives.
Beneficial Experience
Extensive experience in accounting roles within a public practice or boutique accounting firm.
Proven ability to manage financial statements, tax returns, and advisory services for a diverse client base.
Experience in leading and mentoring junior staff, including providing training and support.
Strong understanding of accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
4+ years of experience in accounting, with a solid background in financial reporting and advisory.
CA/CPA Qualification (or close to completion) is highly desirable.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
