As a Senior Auditor, you will be a key player in delivering comprehensive audit services and contributing to the firm’s reputation for quality and professionalism.
About The Role
Audit Management: Lead and execute audits for a diverse portfolio of clients, including large corporates and small to medium-sized enterprises.
Client Interaction: Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing expert advice and ensuring the delivery of high-quality audit services.
Audit Planning: Develop and implement audit plans, including risk assessment and strategy, to ensure efficient and effective audit execution.
Team Supervision: Oversee and mentor junior auditors and audit assistants, providing guidance and support throughout the audit process.
Compliance: Ensure audits are conducted in compliance with relevant auditing standards and regulatory requirements.
Reporting: Prepare and review audit reports, financial statements, and other deliverables, ensuring accuracy and adherence to professional standards.
Quality Control: Conduct quality reviews of audit work, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring adherence to the firm’s audit methodologies and best practices.
Professional Development: Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices, and contribute to the ongoing development of the audit team.
Beneficial Experience
Extensive experience in audit roles within a public practice accounting environment, with a focus on managing complex audits.
Demonstrated expertise in planning, executing, and reviewing audits for a diverse range of clients.
Experience in leading and mentoring audit teams, including junior auditors and assistants.
Strong understanding of auditing standards, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent client management skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
5-8+ years of experience in audit, with a solid background in audit methodologies and quality control.
CA/CPA Qualification (or close to completion) is highly desirable.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
