About The Role
Insolvency Management: Lead and manage insolvency assignments, including the administration of corporate and personal insolvencies, liquidation, and bankruptcy cases.
Client Advisory: Provide expert advice on insolvency matters, including restructuring strategies, asset recovery, and creditor negotiations.
Accounting Services: Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and documentation related to insolvency and restructuring activities.
Team Support: Supervise and mentor junior insolvency accountants and support staff, providing guidance and ensuring high standards of work.
Compliance: Ensure all insolvency practices adhere to relevant regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in insolvency processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Client Interaction: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, creditors, and stakeholders, addressing queries and providing tailored solutions.
Professional Development: Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in insolvency and restructuring, and contribute to the firm’s ongoing professional development initiatives.
Beneficial Experience
Extensive experience in insolvency and restructuring roles within a public practice or boutique accounting firm.
Proven track record in managing insolvency assignments, including liquidations, bankruptcies, and restructuring cases.
Experience in supervising and mentoring junior staff, including providing training and support.
Strong understanding of insolvency regulations, accounting standards, and compliance requirements.
Excellent client management skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective professional relationships.
3+ years of experience in insolvency accounting, with a solid background in financial reporting and advisory services.
CA/CPA Qualification (or close to completion) is highly desirable.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
