About The Role
Audit Execution: Lead and conduct audits for a diverse range of clients, including large organizations and government entities, ensuring high-quality and timely completion.
Client Interaction: Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering expert advice and addressing complex queries related to audit and compliance.
Audit Planning: Develop and implement audit plans, including risk assessment, strategy, and execution, to ensure effective and efficient audit processes.
Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior auditors and audit assistants, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality work.
Compliance: Ensure audits are conducted in accordance with relevant auditing standards, regulations, and internal policies.
Reporting: Prepare and review audit reports, financial statements, and other deliverables, ensuring accuracy and adherence to professional standards.
Quality Control: Conduct quality reviews of audit work, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring compliance with audit methodologies and best practices.
Professional Development: Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and auditing best practices, contributing to the firm’s ongoing professional development initiatives.
Beneficial Experience
Extensive experience in audit roles within a public practice or Top 100 accounting firm.
Proven ability to manage audits, including planning, execution, and reporting for a diverse client base.
Experience in supervising and mentoring junior audit staff, providing training and support.
Strong understanding of auditing standards, financial reporting, and compliance requirements.
Excellent client management skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective professional relationships.
3+ years of experience in audit, with a solid background in audit methodologies and quality control.
CA/CPA Qualification (or close to completion) is highly desirable.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
